Safety

Chimax is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment to all its employees. It is our policy to take every reasonable precaution to prevent personal injury and illness by controlling and identifying workplace hazards both on and off site.

Chimax is fully compliant with the Ontario Health and Safety Act and all concerns regarding employees’ health and safety can be addressed through the company’s Joint Health and Safety Committee.

Updated Accessibility Standards Now Available Online

Chimax strives to ensure all clients have equal access to our services including those with disabilities. All employees have training in accessibility standards for customer service and an ever increasing number of our documents are being converted into more accessible forms. The Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07, came into force on January 1, 2008 and Chimax has committed to stay ahead of the curve since then and to ensure all Ontarians have access to our services regardless of any disabilities.
